In collaboration with BBC Creative, we took on the unique challenge of producing a 30-second broadcast commercial for Glastonbury Festival 2020, tailored for both television and social media platforms. This project demanded an innovative approach due to the constraints of COVID-19, eliminating the possibility of traditional on-location production. Embracing these limitations, we delved into the rich BBC Glastonbury photo archive, with treasures dating back to the 1970s. Utilizing these historical images, we crafted a captivating hyperlapse match cut commercial. This creative endeavor not only served as a tribute to the festival's vibrant history but also excitedly promoted the upcoming event, connecting past celebrations with future anticipation.
